‘Orangery Thursdays’ are an exciting new addition to the Wakefield cultural calendar. Wakefield’s Grade II* listed Orangery will be hosting a regular series of Thursday night performances and events, working with partners such as Theatre Royal Wakefield and Leeds College of Music
As part of Orangery Thursdays, Theatre Royal Wakefield will be presenting up and coming indie acts - next up is the lo-fi DIY pop of Stealing Sheep , who will be playing live at The Orangery in the same week as being interviewed by Mark Riley on Radio 6 music, and the otherworldly song-writing of H. Hawkline.
Also as part of Orangery Thursdays Leeds College of Music have gathered musicians from a number of classical disciplines, future gigs include Leeds-based collective The Aire Ensemble, and the Spring season ends with an evening of classical guitar from Matias Reed.
All gigs start at 8pm and further information and booking details can be found on The Orangery website.
